Audio and local storage
TempoLab imports the audio you select through Android's file picker and keeps a decoded copy in its private storage. Tempo, pitch, equalizer, practice sections and voice separation run on your device. Audio files, filenames and separated tracks are not sent to Praxis Science Lab or used for advertising. You choose where to save exported WAV files. A destination you select may be a cloud document provider governed by that provider's policy.

Saved information and deletion
The last imported audio, language, playback settings, named A–B sections and latest separation results are retained locally. A local audio fingerprint associates sections with a recording. Importing another file replaces the current decoded audio. Successful separation replaces previous separated tracks. Clearing Android app storage or uninstalling deletes private data; exported files must be deleted separately from their chosen destination. TempoLab has no user accounts or developer-operated server and does not back up its private files through Android backup.

Advertising and internet
TempoLab uses Google AdMob banners in Tools only while playback, voice preview and audio processing are stopped. Ads require internet and are requested only when the consent SDK allows them. Ads do not interrupt practice or gate exports.
Google may process IP address (including approximate location), device/account identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics and performance information for advertising and fraud prevention. UMP checks required privacy choices before requesting ads. Where required, revisit Tools > Ad privacy choices. Local audio processing works offline; audio and filenames are not supplied to advertising.

Optional purchase
All current features remain free. An optional one-time Google Play purchase removes TempoLab banners; no subscription. Purchase and restoration use Google Play and require internet. Google handles payment details; TempoLab stores a signed purchase receipt in private storage to retain verified ad-free access offline. Receipts are excluded from Android backup. Successful Google Play reconciliation updates revoked/refunded rights; network failures do not discard a previously verified receipt. Use the same Google Play account to restore after reinstalling. Purchases are unavailable until the store product is configured. The app has no developer-operated payment server.

Support and audience
If you email us, we receive the message and the contact details you provide and use them to answer your request. Do not send private recordings unless you intend to share them. You may request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations. TempoLab is a general music practice tool and is not designed specifically for children. There are no social, messaging or app-account features.
