Short description
Personal clock widgets with sunrise, sunset and daylight at a glance.
Full description
A customizable clock and daylight companion for your Android home screen.
Choose a city from the offline catalog, enter coordinates and a time zone, or request your device location. See sunrise, sunset, civil twilight, day length and the change since yesterday, calculated locally without a solar web service.
Personalize three resizable widget layouts with 12/24-hour time, six fonts, date formats, separate colors, RGB/HEX controls, transparency and two-color gradients. Show the solar arc, a daylight bar or just the clock. Each widget keeps its own place and style.
Choose tap actions for the clock and date, open your phone alarms or calendar, and explore another time in the app preview.
All features are free. The development build may show Google test banners only in Style, after the consent flow. A one-time Remove Ads purchase is prepared but inactive until configured. No subscription. Version 0.3.0 is in testing.
Data safety worksheet
Review the final uploaded artifact, active SDK configuration and provider behavior before completing Play Console declarations.
Selected places, coordinates, time zones and widget styles stay in private local storage. Location is requested only when you choose Use device location. There is no background GPS, travel history, app account or solar API. Android automatic backup is disabled.
Optional coarse or precise location permission supports the one-time location request. You can instead use the offline city catalog or manual coordinates, and revoke permission in Android Settings. Restart and time-change events refresh widget scheduling. Alarm and calendar actions open the corresponding phone app.
Internet access supports Google test advertising in Style. Coordinates are not supplied to ads by Daylight Clock. Google services may process IP addresses, approximate location, identifiers, interactions and diagnostics under https://policies.google.com/privacy . UMP handles applicable consent and privacy options; test ads can still involve network and device data. Widgets contain no ads.
Google Play Billing is integrated for planned one-time ad removal, but commercial purchases are not configured. Google handles the payment flow; the app verifies purchase information and caches access state. We do not receive payment-card details.
Media
Capture at least two authentic screenshots from the final app. Do not use simulated screens, synthetic medical fixtures or old-brand captures. Screenshot language must reflect the actual app; English captions do not imply an English-only interface.
Remaining release checks
- Configure commercial advertising, consent messages and the optional ad-removal product before activation.
- Verify production signing, purchase restoration and final privacy/Data safety disclosures.
- Complete representative-device and Google Play testing before announcing availability.
