English listing
Short description
Shape your sound with clear voice, a 10-band equalizer and local audio playback.
Full description
Listen to your own audio files with Clear Audio. Choose Clear voice, Balanced or Night mode, adjust a 10-band equalizer and compare Original with Processed at the same phone volume. The player includes pause and resume, seeking, 15-second skips and a sleep timer.
Save sound settings for the speaker, wired headphones, Bluetooth or USB. Optional automatic profiles follow the confirmed output category. The waveform shows actual digital samples from the local player. English is the default; Romanian and Spanish are available from More → App language.
Audio files are processed on your phone and local playback works offline. The 10-band EQ applies to files played in Clear Audio. Processing sound from other apps is experimental and depends on the phone and audio route; calls and independent per-app volume mixing are not supported.
This development version uses Google test ads on the More page, separately from playback controls. Ad requests are suspended when detected audio activity or a call makes the page ineligible. Playback remains available when ads or consent services are unavailable. Commercial advertising is not configured.
Clear Audio does not promise percentage-based volume boosts, measure sound pressure at your ear or guarantee hearing or speaker protection. Published by Praxis Science Lab.
Data safety worksheet
Not finalized for Google Play: the downloadable development build can contact Google advertising and consent services using sample identifiers. Review SDK data handling, consent configuration and every active artifact before making store declarations. Local audio processing does not imply that advertising services process no data.
Selected audio files are decoded and processed on the device. Sound settings, equalizer gains, output-category profiles and language are stored in app-private storage. Audio files, samples and titles are not supplied to the advertising driver. Clear Audio has no user account, developer analytics service or application cloud backend. Google advertising and consent services may process connection and device information as described below. A compatibility report is exported only when you choose a destination; review it before sharing because it can include device, playback and diagnostic details.
The downloadable development APK includes Google Mobile Ads Next-Gen 1.4.0 and User Messaging Platform 4.0.0 with Google's sample application and banner identifiers. Internet and network-state access support these services. Google documents IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), interactions, diagnostics and identifiers for its advertising SDK. This app removes the advertising-ID and AdServices permissions; other connection information or identifiers may still be processed. Test ads do not generate revenue and are not a no-data guarantee. Ad requests require an eligible More page, a successful consent-information update and permission from UMP to request ads. If the service is unavailable, the app does not bypass that check.
Notifications, foreground services, audio-setting access and a playback wake lock support listening and experimental external effects. No microphone, location, contacts, accessibility service or root access is requested. You select audio through Android's file picker. Export destinations may be cloud-backed providers controlled by you. The development APK also declares DUMP for optional advanced diagnostics; installation does not grant it, and normal playback does not need it. The separate release configuration omits that diagnostic permission and disables advertising.
Media
Capture at least two authentic screenshots from the final app. Do not use simulated screens, synthetic medical fixtures or old-brand captures. Screenshot language must reflect the actual app; English captions do not imply an English-only interface.
Actual Android test-build captures, prepared for listing review. Recheck against the final upload build.
Remaining release checks
- The direct download is a development-signed APK, not a Google Play release. Prepare and verify a signed release AAB separately.
- Complete production advertising identifiers, published consent messages and Data safety review before enabling commercial ads.
- Add the public privacy-policy link inside the app before a store release; the current app has local explanations and a Google SDK information link.
- Validate accessibility, playback and audio outputs on more physical devices. External-app processing remains experimental.
- Prepare final store graphics and review screenshots against the exact upload artifact.
